About Us

U.S. News & World ReportIn March 2007, US News & World Report ranked Shidler's graduate programs in International Business among the best in the nation. The graduate programs ranked amongst the elite schools in business that include Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, and UC Berkeley. The Shidler College of Business has consistently  ranked in the top 25 for international business the past six years.

In the US News & World Report ranking of Best Colleges, the Shidler College of Business undergraduate program ranked 19 in International Business along with Brigham Young University, Michigan State University and University of Illinois, and ahead of University of Wisconsin-Madison.

"We are really pleased that our continued emphasis on a high-quality international business program is paying off with this kind of recognition," says Dean of the UHM Shidler College of Business Vance Roley. "This represents a significant improvement in the rankings, and this further supports our top 25 international business ranking for our MBA program that we received last spring."

The ranking is based on two types of data: expert opinion about program quality and statistical indicators that measure the quality of faculty, research and students, and is based on an annual survey of business Deans from AACSB accredited programs.
