How to Apply

All Shidler College of Business admission requirements must be completed the semester before you plan on entering the College. There are different ways to apply depending on your status. Please find which category you fall under and follow the steps on how to apply.

 

Continuing Classified UH Mānoa Students

If you are already a continuing classified UH Mānoa student then you must:

  1. Fill out an internal application that will be made available in February for Fall admission and September for Spring admission in BusAD B-101 or online at the Shidler undergraduate forms page. 
  2. The deadlines for the internal applications are April 1st (priority) and May 1st (final) for Fall admission and October 1st (priority) and November 1st (final) for Spring admission.

 

Transfer, 2nd Degree, or Unclassified UH Mānoa Students

If you are a student transferring to UH Mānoa, or planning to pursue a 2nd bachelor’s degree, or listed as an unclassified UH Mānoa student, then you must follow the general application process for University of Hawai’i at Mānoa admissions. Your general UH Mānoa application will be forwarded to the Shidler College of Business for review as well.

  1. Fill out general UH application form online or download it at the UH Admissions & Records Office. Link opens in a new window
  2. Complete all additional requirements such as transferring transcripts from any post-secondary institution(s), paying application fee, etc.
  3. The deadlines for the general application are February 1st (priority) and May 1st (final) for Fall admission and September 1st (priority) and October 1st (final) for Spring admission.

International Students

If you are an international student planning to attend or transfer to UH Mānoa, you must:

  1. Complete all requirements as shown at the admission of foreign students and non-native speakers of English Link opens in a new windowpage and fill out general UH application form at the UH Admissions & Records Office. Link opens in a new window
  2. The application deadlines for international students are February 1st for Fall admission and September 1st for Spring admission.
