China International MBA — Program Overview

The 21 month China International MBA program at Shidler College of Business offers a comprehensive foundation in business fundamentals with an Asia-Pacific focus for students interested in doing business in or with China. Students have access to a three month internship, a study abroad portion in China, career development assistance and strong networking opportunities with fellow students, alumni, and the business community at large.

The China International MBA program features a first-year cohort experience in Hawaii designed to help students learn the inner-workings of group dynamics crucial for the leaders of today's organizations. The next 9 months are spent taking elective courses at Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) School of Business in Guangzhou, China, followed by a three month internship with a company in China.

The Shidler College of Business is the only AACSB International accredited institution in Hawaii, so students are guaranteed that their programs satisfy the expectations of a wide range of quality standards relating to strategic management of resources, interactions of faculty and students in the educational process, and achievement of learning goals in degree programs.
