Christine Camp is the president & CEO of Avalon Group, a real estate development and brokerage services firm she founded in 1999. Avalon is an active developer of communities spanning from Kapolei to Hawaii Kai. Avalon is currently completing the last phase of the 177-acre Kapolei Business Park currently in the sales stages of a 269-unit condominium and an apartment property at 7000 Hawaii Kai that it recently completed for $165 Million. Avalon has now embarked on the development of Sky Ala Moana, a 774 unit mix-use development comprising of Residences, Workforce Housing, Condo-Hotel units, and Retail on the ground floor. In total, Avalon is actively investing over $700 Million in real estate developments - all in Hawaii. With over 30 years of industry experience and leadership, Camp has gained recognition as an expert in real estate and finance. Avalon has consistently sought out opportunities where its developments fill a gap - such as affordable rentals in Hawaii Kai or places of employment in Kapolei. In addition to large scale development projects, Avalon manages approximately 1.5 Million square foot of commercial space and nearly 900 residential units as a property management firm. Avalon developed this operating business to hedge against future development downturns to primarily ensure job protection of its employees.

Camp’s recent honors include NAIOP Developer of the year, PBN’s 40 under 40 Community Leader of the Year, YWCA Woman Leader, and the General Contractors’ Legacy Award. Previously, Camp was vice president of Development and Acquisition for A&B Properties (NYSE: ALEX) and senior project coordinator for the Planning & Engineering division of Castle & Cooke. She is on the boards of Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, Central Pacific Bank and its parent company Central Pacific Financial (NYSE:CPF), YMCA of Honolulu, Kahala Nui, City Mill, and the Blue Planet Foundation.
