Campus Center

The Campus Center, located in the heart of the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, offers the university community and the public a wide variety of meeting, dining, and entertaining options to enrich campus life and the educational experience at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. Campus Center creates an environment where individuals can socialize, relax or study.

Health Services

The University Health Services Mānoa (UHSM) is located on the Upper Campus, near Kennedy Theater. THE UHSM is staffed by physicians, nurse clinicians, nurses, and other support staff. A wide range of medical services and programs are offered. These include the General Medical Clinic, the Women's Health Clinic, Sports Medicine, dermatology, pharmacy, clinical laboratory, student training, employment and volunteer opportunities. Patients are encouraged to call for appointments, especially for our Specialty Clinics (Women's Health, Sports Medicine, Dermatology, Nutrition, Psychiatry, HIV Testing). Shidler College of Business Computer Labs

The Tom W.S. Hee Undergraduate Computer Room is dedicated to the service of those using our computer lab and classroom facilities. It has limited computer access for academic use only. To use the computer labs, you must be a Shidler College of Business student or be taking a Shidler College of Business course.

The Lum Yip Kee Graduate Computer Lab is available for our graduate students and is located in BusAd E-501 just above the Lum Yip Kee Graduate Reading Room in BusAd E-401.  Lum Yip Kee Limited continues to fund renovations of our Graduate Computer Lab and Reading Room.

Our Instructional Computer Lab is located in BusAd E-102.  

Email

You will automatically be assigned a UH email account once you have set up your MyUH Username and password. The email address will be “your-MyUH-username”@hawaii.edu, and the password will be your MyUH password. You can access your UH email at gmail.hawaii.edu. 

Laulima

An online resource used by some professors for posting course materials, assignments and grades. Your ID and password will be the same for your Laulima account as it is for your MyUH account. To access this site, you must be registered for the class. laulima.hawaii.edu


Ticket, Information, and ID Office

Student ID Cards

All new, incoming students and faculty/staff are entitled to one University of Hawai'i ID card at no charge. Each type of ID card is specific to the individual's status at the University and entitles the cardholder to certain university privileges and benefits. Any holds or financial obligations must be cleared before an ID card will be issued.

Any ID with a Social Security Number may be exchanged for an ID with UH number FREE of charge.

Student ID cards need to be validated each semester that the student is enrolled. To obtain validation, students will need to pay their current semester tuition and fees in full. Students who have been awarded and accepted financial aid are eligible to get their IDs validated. Check your MyUH Portal account status for payment status and information on holds.

You will need to bring your tuition receipt and a photo ID.

Tickets & Passes

The Campus Center Ticket, Information & ID Office is your one-stop location for campus and event information along with these other services.

  • Movie Tickets: General Movie Tickets (GMT’s) can be purchased at a discount for any Consolidated Theater for only $6.25 and any Regal Theater for $7.75. A valid student ID must be presented at time of purchase.
  • Bus Passes: Monthly bus passes for adults ($70.00) and youth ($35.00) age 6-high school, not to exceed age 19. Bus passes go on sale on the 20th of every month for the following month's pass (e.g., we sell August Bus Passes on July 20th), and are valid for unlimited bus rides for the calendar month for which it is purchased (e.g., August Bus Pass is valid for all of August, regardless of what month it was purchased). Bus passes for students with validated IDs are now available for a discounted below monthly rate.

  • Other: tickets for Outreach College Events, Music Department Events, PASSPORTS and much more!

UH Bookstore

The main branch of the University of Hawai'i Bookstore is located on the University of Hawai'i's Manoa campus in the heart of the Campus Center. In addition, the University of Hawai'i Bookstore system also consists of seven branch stores, a Medical Bookstore, an Outreach Program, and two RainBowTique merchandise stores.

Students can order their books online, with the option to pick them up on campus or have them shipped.

The Rainbow Business Center (RBC) is an additional service offered at the University of Hawai'i Bookstore. RBC offers a variety of services, such as; color & black/white copies, faxing, comb & coil binding and so much more.

UH Mānoa Student Recreation Services

UH Mānoa Student Recreation Services was designed to provide students and the community with a variety of activities that would complement the academic experience. Established in 1953, the Student Rec. Services continue to provide quality activities ranging from arts and crafts to outdoor recreation. The programs provided are all reasonably priced (with an additional discount to students) as are the various equipment that can be rented.

Approximately 10,000 individuals participate annually -- 60% students and 40% non-students. All classes are non-credit and geared strictly to zero-stress learning and fun.

UH Mānoa Libraries

Hamilton and Sinclair Libraries are open to any individual who wishes to use materials inside the library buildings. Almost all materials are available on open shelves for self- retrieval. Selected materials are kept in protective storage and may not available to all library users, or may be available only for a fee to persons not affiliated with the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (audiovisual media).

You can access many journals and articles from the UH library system database that will be useful for your class research projects. To find these journals, go to the UH Mānoa Library website. Once you are in the Mānoa library system, select Electronic Resources. For some journals, you may be prompted to enter the barcode of your UH ID card. Alternatively, you can enter your MyUH name and password to gain access to these materials.
