How to Apply

Current UH undergraduates have a simple set of steps to apply:

  1. Complete (or be enrolled in the final requirements at the time of application) all business admissions requirements
  2. Submit an internal application by the deadline

Deadlines

Semester of desired admission to Shidler Application link active Priority Deadline Final Deadline
Fall Jan. 15-April 1, 12pm HST March 1st April 1st
Spring Aug. 15-Nov. 1, 12pm HST October 1st November 1st

All current UH students should apply by the priority deadline.

Applications filed by the Priority Deadline will receive a decision BEFORE the start of registration for the upcoming semester.

Applications received after the priority deadline and before the final deadline MAY NOT receive a decision until after the start of registration, which may impact course availability.

Transfer Course Work

Students who have taken pre-business core classes at schools outside of the UH system may need to submit a program petition for course equivalency. In the event that a petition is required, please retain a copy of your detailed course syllabus for submission. All completed and approved petitions must be received by December 1st for Spring admission and by June 1st for Fall admission.

Students taking classes outside of the UH system may also check their unofficial transfer credit course equivalencies to see how their credits may transfer to UH Mānoa.

Students taking classes within the UH system can check the articulation of their transfer courses on the UH General Education Transfer and Articulation Website.

Students who have received AP, CLEP, or IB credit in the past can submit an official copy of their scores to the University of Hawaii at Mānoa for review. UH Mānoa grants waivers and/or credits on the basis of scores received on the CEEB Advanced Placement Examinations.
