Exploring study abroad opportunities at the 2017 Passport Fair

American Marketing Association's China Booth

The Shidler College of Business and the International Business Organization co-hosted the 2017 Passport Fair on March 15 in the Shidler Courtyard.

The fair, which was open to all Shidler students interested in studying abroad, featured themed booths representing countries such as Taiwan, Korea, China, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and France. Students who filled their passport books with stamps from all of the countries were entered into a special prize raffle.

After careful deliberation, a panel of distinguished judges announced the top booths for this year’s fair.

Congratulations to the China booth, hosted by the American Marketing Association, for winning first place. AMA’s display board was colorful, eye catching, informational, and included an "authentic-looking" Chinese scroll. Their representative was dressed in costume and used the scroll to teach students about the language while encouraging them to speak a few basic words.

Second place went to the Korea booth, hosted by the Business Executive Society of Tomorrow and an honorable mention went to the New Zealand booth, hosted by Delta Sigma Pi.
