Shidler College of Business alumni Ross Murakami, BBA ’87, and Dayle Murakami, BBA ’89, have established a Direct Admit Program (DAP) Scholarship to support students from ʻAiea, Waiākea and Konawaena high schools.
Inspired by their own educational journeys and deep appreciation for Hawaiʻi’s public schools, the Murakamis are committed to helping local students pursue higher education and achieve their goals.
In addition to scholarship support, the couple has contributed to student clubs at Shidler College, recognizing the important role extracurricular involvement played in their own professional development. Their philanthropy reflects a passion for creating opportunities for Hawaiʻi’s next generation of business leaders and giving back to the communities that helped shape their success.
