The School of Accountancy (SOA) offers accounting education at all levels: undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D.
Special programs also exist to assist students in entering the accounting profession.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree includes a major in Accounting. This four year program includes about two years of general education requirements for the university, one year for a broad business education, and one year devoted to courses in Accounting.
3/2 Program (BBA and MAcc)
The 3/2 program enables the University of Hawaii at Manoa Shidler College of Business student to earn both the BBA in accounting and Master of Accounting in 5 years, without taking the GMAT.
Master of Accounting (MAcc)
The Master of Accounting (MAcc) program is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to build a successful career in the multifaceted, dynamic practice of accounting.
The PhD Program offers an academically challenging and rigorous program designed to prepare highly motivated and intellectually gifted students for a career in research and teaching with a particular focus on Asia and the Pacific.
