Designing places for living, working and play since 1992, Marc Lizama is skilled at integrating sustainability and local culture in hospitality, commercial developments, and luxury residential developments both locally and internationally. With his understanding of the architectural and cultural complexities of designing projects in Hawai`i, Marc produces projects in tune with the visitor experience and ensures cultural connectivity to the unique environment. Marc honed his skills through his experience designing hotels, resorts, and luxury homes across the globe with internationally renowned Wimberly Allison Tong and Goo (WATG). Recently joining RIM as Project Architect, Marc oversees the design and coordination of the design team, working directly with the client to manage time and budget to produce inspired architecture. Currently, Marc is working on the renovation of the Mauna Lani Hotel on the Big Island and the new Coconut Beach Resort in Kaua’i.
