Club Management Association of America (CMAA)

Club Overview

The Club Management Association of America (CMAA) is a student organization at the University of Hawaiʻi where students can learn more about the private club industry — an often overlooked path within Travel Industry Management. Through CMAA, we're given access to exclusive properties and professionals from country clubs and yacht clubs in Oʻahu and around the nation. Activities we host range from networking events, property tours, volunteer opportunities, and a chance to go to the mainland for the CMAA World Conference.

We are supported by an active parent chapter of industry professionals who work closely with us, providing mentorship and support throughout our professional journey. Our philosophy is that you get out what you put in: as you continue to go to different events, the more experiences you gain and the more professionals you meet that could give you access behind closed doors in the future.
