Patricia Tam - Vice President, Halekūlani Corporation
Tam has been an intrinsic part of the Halekūlani legacy for close to 30 years, during which she served as General Manager for both Halekūlani and Waikīkī Parc Hotel. In the course of her prestigious career, Tam was the first female GM of a luxury resort in Hawai‘i and was later awarded Independent Hotelier of the World, and one of the first female awardees. She has been listed among the 200 Most Powerful Women in Travel and has served as Chair of the Waikīkī Improvement Association, Hawai‘i Hotel Association and as a board member of Aloha United Way, Big Brothers / Big Sisters and the Hawaii Employers Council. Under her leadership, both Halekūlani and Waikīkī Parc Hotel have garnered innumerable industry awards and recognition. Today, Tam oversees all corporate community relations related to the brand, and supports all aspects of the hotels’ operating and services standards.
