Summer van Praag, BBA ’24, joins the University of Hawai‘i Foundation as development coordinator.

Liann Unebasami, MBA ’24, joined the 19th Class of Pacific Century Fellows. The Pacific Century Fellows Program — founded by former Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann and modeled after the White House Fellows — is one of Hawai‘i’s most respected leadership development programs. Each year, a highly competitive process selects a diverse group of leaders to explore critical issues and strengthen civic engagement across our islands.

Dr. Heera Chang, EMBA ’24, joined the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine as program director of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Kelsey Kimura, BBA ‘21, joined the UH Foundation as associate director of gift processing.

Congratulations to Dr. Stefanie Park, MBA ’22, chief medical officer at HMSA, who was recognized as a 2025 Honolulu Magazine Celebrating Wāhine honoree.

Natalie Kwon, BBA ’22, was appointed market research associate with Anthology FINN Partners.

Seth Addison, BBA ’23, was hired as an audit associate at Accuity.

Nicole Calio, BBA ’20, MS ’21, has been hired as a financial analyst at Y. Hata & Co Ltd. In her new role, Calio prepares financial reports, including variance/trend analysis and tracking of key performance indicators for department leaders and executive management. She supports the planning of the annual budget and assists in developing financial models to support strategic decisions.

Alyssa Mencel, BBA ’22, has been hired as associate analyst at Hawaiian Airlines. Working in the Financial Planning & Analysis Department, Mencel provides support for the team’s financial systems and works to enhance  workflows, including  high-level data analysis.

Stefani Sakamoto, BBA ’23, has been named business process manager, auto retail operations at Servco.⁠ In her new role, Sakamoto is responsible for driving efficient process improvements, leading cross-functional initiatives and developing training programs. She also serves as a digital strategy liaison, ensuring consistent operations and compliance while supporting new tool implementation.⁠

Christian Bowman, MBA ’22, has been named chief marketing officer and production manager at Sight and Sounds Productions and Island Sound Studios. In his new role, he will use his branding, advertising and narrative expertise to expand the two companies, while also continuing his duties as production manager.

Justin Puckett, MBA ’21, has been named Hawaii market leader at Humana. In this role, he is responsible for the development, expansion and management of the company’s business presence and success in Hawaii. He also plays a key role in working with local providers. Prior to his current role, Puckett served as director of value-based care transformation and performance at Hawaii Pacific Health.

Kapilialoha Kidder, BBA ’20, has been appointed asset management secretary for the State of Hawaii’s Hawaii Community Development Authority.

Hae-Dong Lee, MBA ’20, has been promoted to principal at Bowers + Kubota. In his elevated role, Lee oversees the architectural and electrical design group along with managing various government agencies.
