Todd Yamanaka (MBA 1994) has been named vice president of personal lines and marketing for Island Insurance. In addition to his current marketing responsibilities, Yamanaka will manage Island Insurance's personal insurance division, which includes personal auto, homeowners, condo, renters, personal umbrella and dwelling fire insurance.
Prior to joining Island Insurance in 2000, Yamanaka oversaw the marketing division of Central Pacific Bank. He currently serves as board secretary of the Lanakila Pacific Center and is past president of PATCH Hawaii. He is also a member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
Along with an MBA from the Shidler College of Business, Yamanaka holds a BBA in marketing from the University of Washington and he holds the professional designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
