The Shidler College of Business Alumni Association hosted author David Heenan at their Talk Story event on February 15 to a packed audience. From his recent book, Hidden Heroes, Heenan shared several stories of remarkable individuals who work tirelessly behind the scene without any recognition. The book celebrates their success and shows us how organizations can benefit from their dedication, selfless service, and honorable work.​

A prolific writer, Heenan has published ten books on business and leadership including, Leaving On Top, Double Lives, and Co-Leaders.” He is the former trustee of The Estate of James Campbell and the former dean of the Shidler College of Business. He currently serves as a visiting professor at the College of William and Mary and continues to write steadily.
