Travis ItoTravis Ito, BBA ’15, is the chief amazement officer of Blue Logic Labs, a digital innovation agency that helps clients solve problems with meaningful digital solutions. He is sharing two information-packed resources to help Hawai‘i residents adapt to a new way of life which involves working from home and collaborating with colleagues digitally.

“Due to the COVID-19 crisis, our community has had to adapt quickly,” Ito said. “I'm happy to do my part to share knowledge and/or connect people to make that easier.”

The Ultimate Guide to Remote Work is a guide compiled by Blue Logic and is based on their eight years of collective experience working as part of a remote team. The 23-page manual addresses important issues and concerns employees and managers may have, including remote work myths, best practices for success, communication, morale and feedback.

The second resource is the Hawaii Distance Learning Forum, which is a space for teachers to come together and share resources and tips and a little dose of inspiration with each other during this unique time. So far, seven principals and 462 teachers representing 165 public, private and charter schools have signed up.
