Important Dates and Information:

March 8th: Summer 2022 registration for UH Manoa seniors Course Availability.

March 9th: Summer 2022 registration for all UH Manoa students.

March 14th-18th: Spring Break!

March 25th: Holiday (Kuhio Day)/non-Instructional Day.

March 28th 4:00pm HST: Last day to drop a course with a "W" grade.

May 1st: Deadline to register for Spring 2022 commencement ceremony.

FilGrad Ceremony 2022

The Filipino Graduation (FilGrad) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is a tradition that celebrates the rich cultural history and contributions of Filipino/a/xs in Hawaiʻi. FilGrad puts the spotlight on students who have reached the requirements to receive a degree at any level of higher education. Any Filipinx student or individual who embraces Filipinx culture can participate in FilGrad, regardless of race or ethnicity.

The FilGrad 2022 Planning Committee is excited to announce this year’s in-person ceremony to honor this milestone achievement. This year’s theme is entitled, “Sirmata at Balintataw: Celebrating the Vision of FilipinXcellency.”

FilGrad will celebrate graduates from Fall 2021, Spring 2022, and Summer 2022. It will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM HST. Each graduate has the opportunity to receive graduation stole with the Filipino flag. If you’re a graduating student interested in participating, fill out this interest form by March 10 at 11:59 PM HST. We hope you join us as we celebrate Filipinx excellence!

Scholarship Opportunities:

Apply for the RMA Foundation Scholarship: 
From January 4, 2022, to March 31, 2022, is the application period for the RMA Foundation Scholarship for the 2022-2023 academic year and is available to all business students. 

The Risk Management Association (RMA), is a national non-profit professional organization serving the banking industry. The Hawaii Chapter would like to again announce that the RMA Foundation is making available scholarship monies on a national level to undergraduate students having an interest or seeking a career in the banking industry. Mental Health Services:
The mental health professionals at the UH Mānoa  Counseling and Student Development Center  (CSDC) are here to help if you need support. The CSDC is available for scheduled appointments during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. The range of free mental health services to UH Mānoa students include brief individual, couple, and group counseling, crisis intervention, peer-to-peer support, outreach services, and referrals to on-campus resources and community providers.

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS):
Are you a first-generation college student who needs help financially? TRIO Student Support Services can help! You must qualify for the first two criteria, and can be either first-gen OR high financial need. The eligibility requirements are as followed;

  1. U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and
  2. Undergraduate student enrolled or accepted at UHM, and
  3. First generation college student and/or taxable income meets U.S. Department of Education income criteria**
